2025 People's Choice Award
Voting for the 2025 WasteSMART People’s Choice Award has now closed and the winners of all Award categories will be announced at the Awards Ceremony at City Hall in November.
WasteSMART Brisbane Awards
Brisbane City Council’s WasteSMART Brisbane Awards recognise the achievements of residents, community groups, schools, kindergartens and businesses going above and beyond to help make Brisbane a clean and sustainable city.
Whether it be recycling, repurposing, composting or resource recovery initiatives, this is an opportunity to share their stories so we can acknowledge the work they are doing and inspire others to do the same.

This year there are 12 awards and categories, with a prize pool worth over $4000.
